TIPS TO HELP YOU LEARN THE BIBLE

There are hundreds of ways that you can help yourself learn the Bible and remember certain facts about it. One is by using memory helps like the one I have shown you below. I hope you will use this and find other ways to make your Bible reading more fun and enjoyable.

The Seven days of Creation

1. Bun rhymes with One
2. Blue rhymes with Two
3. Tree rhymes with Three - etc.
4. Door 5. Dive 6. Sticks
7. Heaven

1. Bun - a bun is light and dark.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

2. Blue - has to do with water and air.

Gen 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

3. Tree - This would be all plant life

Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

4. Door - You open a door to look outside to the sun and stars

Gen 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Gen 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Gen 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day

5. Dive - What kinds of things dive? Fish, birds,

Gen 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Gen 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Gen 1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

6. Sticks - Animals and Humans can deal with sticks

Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

7. Heaven

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Notice that on days 1-2-3 that God sort of makes an outline of things and then on days 4-5-6 he fills them in.

On day one he separates the light from the dark and then on day four he fills in the sky with lights.
On day two he makes the sky and the seas and then on day five he fills them up with birds and fish
On day three he makes plant life and on day Six he puts animals and people to enjoy and use the plant life.
